"[For the sake of transparency, I received this item for free through the Amazon Vine programme on condition that I leave an honest review. I give this review honestly and the fact that I did not pay for this item has not influenced my rating]The capsules are quite large, being just over 2cm long though I had no trouble swallowing them prior to a meal or drink that had dairy products in it.Having taken these after a milky porridge along with a very milky and frothy coffee with whole milk, I felt none of the symptoms of my lactose intolerance, be it bloating, gas or being forced to find a toilet within and hour or two of consuming a large amount of dairy. With that said, there was more gas than normal 3 or 4 hours later though nothing that could be compared to nuclear fallout. When I had the same dairy intake the following day, I took two capsules instead and had no troubles with gas at all later in the day.Despite the claim of being high-strength lactase capsules, my own experience suggested otherwise as I needed to take two of them compared to other lactase pills or capsules where just one is adequate for the same effect.While these capsules aren't quite as potent as other lactase enzyme products I've used, I'm genuinely impressed. For those with mild to moderate lactose intolerance, one capsule may do you fine with a dairy-heavy intake though if it ranges from moderate to severe, you may need to take a second capsule."
