"I was really excited to try out some art supplies from Arteza, but overall I'm somewhat disappointed with this purchase. First, I'll start out with what I liked.Pros:1) The packaging for the set is really nice. I was excited to open the set and try everything out.2) The metal case for the half pans is compact, very portable and seems to be of decent construction. I'll probably continue to use and refill the half pans with other watercolors once I've used up the Arteza paints.3) The watercolors themselves are decent. I'm no watercolor expert but these compare favorably to student watercolors I've tried in the past. The palette is ok and I've been able to achieve most colors I've wanted through mixing.Cons:1) The included water brush was defective. Mine leaked from the seal the first time I used it. Basically large water drops will form at the seal if apply any pressure to release water into the brush. The brush also has a fine tip and isn't able to hold much paint. The water reservoir is also very small compared to most water brushes I've tried and it feels like I was constantly refilling it.2) The color swatches on the insert card and the back of the packaging don't match. They are also a poor representation of the paints. I would recommend doing a swatch so you know what these will look like.Overall, I'm somewhat disappointed with this watercolor set. I had plans to buy some other Arteza supplies but I'm slightly worried about quality control issues. I don't think I would buy this set again but I have been content with the results I've been getting with the paints and I like the metal case."

I'm just a beginner so I have limited experience but I found these work well for me. The colors are vibrant and mix well. I didn't find them chalky or clumpy at all. The water pen is a nice bonus. I think this is very portable and easy to use. I have always found Arteza products to be excellent. These are no exception.

These are good watercolor paints. The colors are very pigmented. I’ve just played with them a bit but I’m very happy with this small group of colors.

I'm an avid acrylic Painter. Figured give watercolor a try. My God am I ecstatic I did. These colors are so pigmented. Touch of a learning curve, but I'm really happy with the mixed media piece I just did and the current watercolor I'm working on

I really like this watercolor palette. It easily unfolds for two surfaces to mix paint. The colors are pretty and it comes with a brush that distributes water nicely imo. I would recommend!
