"Just received my new pen and it's fabulous. The build is excellent. After flushing it and drying for awhile I inked it with Diamine's Celadon Cat ink. Is easy to fill with the smooth piston feed. I did have to use an ink miser as the No 8 nib was a bit big to fit into the small, sample Diamine bottles. Don't expect that to happen with full size ink bottles. Now to the writing - of the 5 different pens I own it's the smoothest writing pen. It just glides across the paper! Nice and juicy ink flow with no skips or hard starts. My pen has the fine nib and with the ebonite feed it writes like a dream!I also ordered a set of the fine and medium nibs to go with it which haven't arrived yet. This is a beautiful pen I'd normally expect to pay 3 times as much for. I couldn't be happier with my purchase. As to size and weight, it's a bit heavier than my other pens, but oh so comfortable to write with."

I bought the blue P140 with a <F> nib. I like colors better than clear demonstrators. The pen is delightful. The resin feels solid and expensive. The piston is solid brass and works very well. The feed is supposed to be ebonite, and paired with the expedition #8 size nib makes a juicy and smooth writing experience. The cap posts securely, and I write with it posted.I can’t help but wonder why there’s such an emphasis lately on MB149 size pens. I suspect most people would feel more comfortable writing with a smaller pen. The large MB149 seems like an ostentatious pen for prestige seeking rich people to demonstrate how important their signatures are rather than a comfortable and cozy daily writing pen. I will welcome pens built as well as the P140 at a more reasonable scale.carol ann miller

Good pen overall. However, the cap does not really post well. When post the cap on the back of the pen body, the cap does not fit snug. I need to push the cap hard, so it can somehow post. The F nib does feel much smoother than my LAMY VISTA's EF nib. However, LAMY's cap posts much better.phonz

This is the best Chinese fountain pen that I have, the cristal transparency of the body, the size the laser engraving and quality of the steel nib, the brass piston, the ebonite feed, the GPT of all its elements is outstanding! Aaah…the price! This pen easily values the double! So don’t let pass The opportunity of owning one of the best Chinese pens out there now. I still don’t believe it!hopeful skeptic

This is an outstanding pen. The clear acrylic has a very substantial, quality appearance and feel. The nib (I got a medium) was perfect right out of the box—delightfully wet and ultra smooth. Inverted, mine writes just as reliably, but with an extra fine line and just a touch of feedback. Thus far, this is my top pen of the year.adonis

I really wanted to like this pen because aesthetically it’s beautiful and feels great in the hand. Unfortunately, the build quality doesn’t quite live up to the looks. The cap doesn’t secure well and has a noticeable rattle. It feels a bit loose when capped, which makes me concerned about long-term durability. It also takes over two full turns to uncap, which feels excessive for daily use. I haven’t inked it yet, but given how the cap fits, I would expect it to dry out fairly quickly. One positive is that the nib unit disassembles easily, which is convenient for cleaning. That said, it may actually be a little too easy, to the point where it doesn’t inspire confidence.Overall, it feels like a good attempt, but not fully refined. For comparison, the Asvine V800 is less expensive yet feels higher quality. Even though the V800 feed isn’t ebonite, it flows just fine with Pilot Kon-peki ink and feels more solidly built. I wanted this to compete in that range, but it falls short. What Customers Talk About
