"Bottom line, this is an inexpensive hat and will definitely work to keep the sun off my face while I'm at the beach.Just a couple of things to note. It comes rolled up, which I can appreciate for packing purposes, as it's really not going to take up a lot of space in your bag or suitcase. However, because of that, it's incredibly wavy looking and will need to be left out in the sun beforehand so that it takes a better and flatter shape. So that's both a positive and a negative.It does come with the optional chin strap, in the event you wanted to keep it secure or have the option to take it off and have it stay around your neck. Not sure that I will use this feature. It feels decently constructed and the material itself isn't overly thick but not so thin that the sun will shine right through it.The only thing I don't like and really wish they would have given some more thought to is the velcro. I consider myself to have a relatively 'normal' sized head, maybe even on the smallish side but when I secure this, I'm almost at the edge of the velcro. So if you know you have a larger head circumference, this may not work for you. But that's not necessarily my complaint... I don't like that the velcro is black. Why? This takes away from the look so much to have a glaring obvious black velcro showing. Why not make it white or tan? Eh, my opinion.But all in all, like I said, it's a very good price and it will work as intended, so I'll deal with it :)"
