"Update: developed a line of dead pixels right across the screen within a month! Luckily I noticed it before the return window closed and sent it back. What a let down.. gonna stay away from SamsungUpdate: Amazon didn’t refund me for over a month after my return shipment. Customer service said they’d manually refund 30 days after the return date, which is what they finally did. Amazon, like google, has turned evil I suppose.It’s absolutely stunning! Running it with MacBook Pro M2 Max at 5120x1440 resolution with hdmi cable. Changed the picture mode to ‘original’ and that’s when the screen came to life, looked dull before that. Also changed the color profile on the Mac from the preset ‘Odyssey G91F’ to ‘Generic RGB Profile’ and that’s made the colors so much more pleasing. I am so glad I preordered it and got it for a steal of a deal at $972! Definitely impressed"

Exactly what I needed! I need a huge amount of screen real estate to view multiple pages of documents and code, and this is a total game changer. I like the more aggressive wrap aroind on this model; ones with a more gentle curve aren't easy to read text on at the edges, but not a problem with this guy.a_friend247

The radius of the curve is perfect - such that you are always looking straight onto the display instead of at an angle. There were no dead pixels on the one I got. I thought I would need a monitor arm to get it up high enough for good posture/ergonomics, but the stand it comes with turned out to be tall enough.non

I purchased the SAMSUNG 49-inch Odyssey G9 (G91F) DQHD, 144Hz Curved Gaming Monitor for everyday office use to replace three separate monitors across my desk. Until I switched to the Odyssey, I truly didn’t realize what I was missing.The curve is perfect and greatly improves my viewing angle. I have ongoing neck and shoulder issues, and this monitor provides a much more natural and comfortable viewing experience compared to using three individual screens. I’m especially happy to no longer deal with monitor bezels breaking up my workspace. I can resize applications freely and still read everything clearly within each window.I often work with three different applications visible at the same time while developing and troubleshooting in an EMR system, and this monitor handles that workflow beautifully. Everything feels more streamlined and efficient.Packaging was impressive and well thought out, and assembly was very easy.
