"Update: STILL GOING STRONG almost a year later. Sturdy magnet. I keep the ones I do not use on the refrigerator until I need them.Are use them on dog food bags as well as food bags, and they work absolutely wonderfully. I wasn’t sure how long they would last due to how inexpensive they were but to my surprise they are still going strong. I’m going to purchase more. Highly recommend!Original review after purchase: To my surprise, these are very well-made. I bought two packages. Both arrived on time. They are indeed magnetic and have a strong grip on the refrigerator when not in use. They open and close with ease and when in use closing a chip bag or other bag, it really holds it in place.I was going to order the old-school looking chip clips but after reading review after review, I decided to go with these and I’m very glad I did. This design absolutely beats out the other versions.Other versions, people complain that the magnet does not stick well or hold anything. These magnets work excellent! I actually didn’t need them to be magnetic but now that they are I can hang things on my refrigerator and it is not that bulky….. in my freezer… Or in the pantryThe price point on these was excellent so I was holding my breath a little bit….Because at the end of the day what I had in my mind visually was not this clip at all. But I decided to give it a try & was pleasantly surprised!"

These are good quality clips that feel like they will last. I like that they are magnetic and I can easily grab one off the fridge. They are strong but not hard to squeeze and open. They have a weight to them that makes them feel sturdy. Sealing a bag with one of these clips will definitely help to keep the food fresh longer.ashley cooke
