I enjoyed this story about Courtney and Dmitry. Not very often do I read a mafia book where you have a strong female character, but Courtney is exactly that. She goes willingly to stay with Dmitry for 6 months to help her father's debt. She is attracted to Dmitry and he means her no harm. Dmitry is always coming home with blood on his shirt, but this does not bother Courtney in the least. She knows what Dmitry does as a living but is only working on staying for the 6 months. Things take a turn when she finds out she is pregnant and wants to stay with Dmitry. Courtney and their child gets kidnapped at the end of this book and it is up to Dmitry to find them in time before any harm can come to them.sue b

An excellent read simply riveting….This is another captivating read by this simply amazing author it is filled with love, intrigue, family and murder all wrapped up by a Bratva leader his wife and two daughters. The Bratva Pakhaan is Dimitry who had taken Courtney as part of a debt against her father and when she had taken on the responsibility by agreeing to act as his slave what she had not expected was to fall in love.Courtney was braver than any person he has ever met she is loyal to a fault and when she had started to look after his niece Tati it had been obvious that it had been a labour of love and his niece that was deaf and communicates by simply sign language, in her love and care for Tati she has learned to sign and has helped her learn to live love and trust again since the loss of her parents.This is simply a wonderful read and when she realises that she is carrying Dimitry’s child the two of them begin a life and a love that will last a lifetime, Courtney is the love of his life and the children he never thought he would have had mean everything to him.He would die for his family; they are his world and what he never expected was that they would be out in more danger than he could ever have anticipated.I voluntarily received and review an Advanced Reader CopyI thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the great writing.ran

This author never fails to deliver, this is another heart stopping story that grips you from the first chapter. Nicole’s books have become my compulsion the writing is flawless they flow effortlessly and have equal amounts of twists and turns, betrayal, revenge scorching chemistry and steam. Dmitry Tsezar is a powerful Bratva Don and has had his fair share of grief in his life, when his best friend sells him out to the FBI his punishment is of course death which leaves Dmitry to collect the debts that people owe him. Laurence is one of those debtors, when he can’t pay Dmitry has to rough him up a little to show he means business, Courtney Laurences daughter is witness to this and offers herself as collateral for six months to save her father further punishment. Dmitry takes her to his home neither of them expecting that they would fall for each other. Dmitry has trust issues is Courtney playing him ?? When Courtney finds his hidden secret in the house are they doomed?? Surely things will not end well?? Is the chemistry strong enough to give them a HEA?? When once again danger raises its ugly head putting his family in the forefront will he be able to save them?? The answers are in the book including the massive cliffhanger at the end, who will survive?? Thank goodness book two is out soon !!
