"I rate this 3.5. The best part of the book was the demon , he really brought this book to life. Great plot and well written , I docked points because I didn’t see much of a build of romance or connection with the mmc and fmc but I will say the plot was good and the smut scenes were so good 🌶️"

Omgosh why did I wait so long to read this book! This is a dark paranormal romance with a cult, demons, old gods, and witches.Our MMC is Leon, a demon who is being held against his will and used to do a cults bidding. He is lethal, hot, possessive, and into toys 😜🥵👿🌶! Leon has also been through a lot of trauma and loneliness during his time being captive and is only nice to Rae.Rae is our FMC. She's a paranormal investigator and has been having experiences since being a child, which started in the small town she grew up in and has returned to. I've seen some people say in reviews that she's stupid because she often doesn't listen to Leon. I honestly find it a weird take, as every choice she makes is for a reason, trying to survive and often taking more bravery than most would have. Does she make some mistakes? Yes, but she's human and especially in the beginning doesn't know if she can trust a demon! I actually found her really likeable and easy to connect with. Her relationship with Leon is intense, and he allows her to be her true self and indulge in fantasies she's had her whole life. She finds her power and refuses to go down without a fight or give up in Leon.The spice is SPICY, all with full consent, but this couple like pain, so do check triggers if you have them!I was hooked the entire time, you had a great romance, spice, cult, mystery, monsters that Leon deals with in some graphic ways 💀 and side characters that will lead into being couples in the other books. I was fully invested and LOVED every minute. Would I give Leon my soul.......please like that's even a question that needs an answer 🤣🤣🤣🖤. In fairness, he had me at getting injured saving Raes cat 🤣.The audio book was absolutely brilliant. The narration was perfection and just pulled you into the story, so you couldn't stop listening.sazjayx

I loved the concept Harley Laroux wrote and her execution of the story was written beautifully. Some intense and dark spicy scenes. I felt like I fell down a very dark Alice in wonderland rabbit hole except the rabbit hole was really a trip to the underworld except it all took place above ground and all the monsters are not really monsters but really they are and the monsters that are not monsters are the worst monsters you could come across and you pray the right monster finds you and keeps you and can I please have some cheesecake now?!What Customers Talk About
