"Overall this a great trash can. It has what I was looking for: large-ish dual bins, a single lid, a foot pedal, easily removable cans when a bag is in, not too wide to fit at the end of my island without extending past, not too tall to cover an outlet that is placed there (I wanted the Barbantia on legs, but it would have blocked the outlet), and a matte black color. I was pleasantly surprised to see that it also locks open. That's not a feature I was expecting. I'm also glad it doesn't have an oversized lid with room for trash bag storage behind and can instead sit flush against the cabinets.. I haven't had it for more than a day so I can't speak to the longevity, but I can tell you that the first one came and had a large dent on one side of the pedal and a smaller one on the other. All of the packaging was in great condition. The second one came and has a small dent on one side and a larger dent on the back. I was inclined to return this, too, because for this amount of money I think it's OK to expect the can to be in good, non-dented, condition. However, because I wasn't able to find another can that met my needs, my husband found that both dents were easy enough to push out. The one on the side is nearly undetectable (you'd have to know to look for it) and the one on the back is now just small. Since it's in the back, we're living with it. The Amazon 13 gallon kitchen bags fit, but might be a smidge shallow. I am using a large rubber band to secure it around the rim and also cinching it so that there isn't loads of plastic bag sticking out everywhere. We're making that work instead of buying special bags. In the end, I'd buy another, but be prepared to buy a few to get one without dents. This seems to be true for many buyers as I read it in many reviews but hoped I'd be one of the lucky ones. I wasn't."
