"Had this bench for ~4 years being used 3-5 times a week doing general weight training (I’m 160 lb, never using more than 50 lb dumbbells), and the bench has generally held up well.Biggest exception being the seat cushion grip no longer holds the seat up. Learned this the hard and dangerous way as the seat collapsed and I fell a few feet while doing seated shoulder presses. Luckily wasn’t holding heavier weights or a different move where I could’ve dropped my weights on top of myself.Overall great beginner bench for a short term, but highly recommend being careful after a few years, as the grips holding the bench up don’t seem to last much longer than that."
