"This grinder is adequate if you’re not aiming for a fine grind, but it falls short for espresso preparation. I purchased it with the intention of using it for my espresso machine and carefully adjusted it to the finest grind setting available. Unfortunately, the resulting grind was still far too coarse for proper espresso extraction.• Grind Quality: Even at its tightest setting, the grounds resembled coarse particles rather than the fine powder needed for espresso. I even took a photo of the puck, where the coarse grains are clearly visible—the expected silky powder simply never appeared.• Suitability: While disappointing for espresso, this grinder should perform reasonably well for drip coffee or pour-over methods, where a medium-to-coarse grind is more appropriate.• Comparison to Manual Grinder: My manual burr grinder produces a much finer, more uniform grind suitable for espresso, though it requires considerably more effort. In contrast, this electric grinder is faster but sacrifices precision.• Speed vs. Consistency: The grinder does operate quickly, which is convenient, but that speed comes at the cost of uniformity and fineness.
