"So basically I got these to hold curtains and I noticed the spring clips are not closing after a while letting the curtains go even when I double up thicken the clip to have a better grip it has lost spring action on nearly two of the four so far ... Wasteful for a product that claims for carpet holding can't even handle curtains ..."

I needed a way to anchor my pergola curtains that I have on my apartment patio... For some reason the past couple years in Arizona it's windy like everyday.. So I bought some sandbags but I needed some heavy duty clips that I could attach one end to the sandbag and then one into the curtains to keep them from flying all over the place... These rug clips are absolutely perfect... They are super strong and My curtains have not once slipped from them even in heavy wind... A much better idea than curtain weights... I do roll up the corner of the curtain three times just to add more thickness so that the grip is stronger...
