"I suffer from a hereditary condition that means I'm susceptible to pins & needles and this mattress was a big investment in the hope of getting better sleep. Initially, it felt more comfortable and like a step up from my old mattress. Although, it took me a while to "get used to it" and I actually ached some mornings, which I put down to my body adjusting to it and persevered.However, at around the 8 month mark I noticed that it had sunk badly in the place I usually sleep, to the right of it. It does not recover at all - even if I've been on holiday for over a week, I'll come back to find it hasn't regained its shape.I bought it just before the summer of 2021 and found I was ridiculously hot during the night but put it down to the heatwave. Unfortunately, even in the autumn I've found it just as hot and sweaty - the only bonus was I didn't need my electric blanket in the winter. My Fitbit indicates my body temperature is all over the place during the night in the summer months as I toss and turn, throwing off the duvet and dragging it back on again when I've cooled. Air just does not circulate as promised in the glossy Emma marketing.The whole experience of owning a "mattress in a box" has actually dented my trust in Which? recommendations and in "independent" reviews which I read a lot of before splashing out on an Emma mattress. Sadly, I can't afford to replace it for now but I can't wait until I can get rid of the thing."
