"This review is about the EQ12 with N305 processor.On a 6.1.0 kernel (from Debian 12), wifi and bluetooth do not work out of the box and as of today (2023-09-28) there is no driver support at all. The device name is AX101. A patch is flying around which purportedly makes the AX201 (or so?) driver work, but I wasn't able to test it.Another problem is that some HDMI monitor have link training issues with this PC and (again) 6.1.0 / Debian. The kernel spews out multiple HDMI link training errors while the screen flashes. This happens after boot, and I think it's some missing support from the Linux side because Windows 11 or the BIOS don't have this problem.The rest seems to work ok.The NICs are Intel I225-V rev 3. There are plenty of people reporting issues with this chip, but I haven't had issues with it yet. I've only tested it at 1 Gb/s and it gets full speed there, easily pushing 110+ MB (not Mb) / s in file copies.The NVMe SSD is a cheap MAXIO MAP1202 (rev 01) unit. I haven't done any in depth testing but it works.This is not bad value, the CPU is fast and the rest mostly works, but as of right now it does not make a good desktop machine. It works fine as a headless server, but if you need it for anything else, be careful."

Runs fairly cool and has been super stable.I can’t speak for how well it does anything advanced like IDS or IPS since I run a pretty basic set up and this thing is total overkill for my home internet.n0l1b0
