"Well it’s good for a little snow but not deep and it blows in front not any way to adjust it to blow to the side also after you do a lot your arm aches because it is on the heavy side and another thing you have to bring it in can’t leave it sit on the porch because of the battery so you have to have a place to set it because it leaks a lot of water from all the snow that gets up in it and if you would leave it out somebody probably would steal it and it’s not too easy to put together the wires that are in the handle you have to put a screw through and push those wires around and I had to get my husband to help me most things I do by myself but this was a little harder overall this is a good little shovel for 1 to 2 inches of snow maybe a little more but when you get up to 9 inches doesn’t work too well"

Even though it is lightweight, the shaft feels solid and sturdy during operation, and the auger is thick and durable for long-term reliability. The chute is adjustable to the left, straight ahead, or to the right for controlled snow discharge.The snow shovel includes a battery and charger. I've owned a few other sun/snow Joe products and I can't really complain. I wouldn't say they feel like a high end tools. More like decent tools. And I always joked that electric snow shovels are what people from the south, think they need when moving to the Midwest. And I still kind of stand by that, but it is pretty fun.This thing did great clearing the snow from infront of my garage and my wife used it to clear our deck. It did great at those things. I tried using it on the driveway and quickly gave up and got out the old single stage snow blower. (I need a dual stage where I live)A few criticisms, the shoot could be a bit bigger, longer, or angled down a bit. It's a lot of fun to shoot snow 10-15 feet down the driveway but them it just blows back in. Maybe a detachable hood would be nice. And the direction knob is right on top and just gets pack in snow. Which makes it harder to use. I also think I chipped the blades on my broken concrete. Lastly 10" is kind of small.Overall, this electric shovel is fun to use and great at clearing small areas. Perfect for decks, patios, small walkways. Not great for rough areas or large areas. Simple to use and lightweightsome guy

I saw this snow shovel trending all over my feed lately. A coworker posted about it on thier story and I knew I had to grab 1 for our deck. It definately lives up to the hype and I was pretty skeptical about a battery powered shovel at the start. It took a day or 2 to get used to the way it throws snow but now I love it. I actually get excited to use it which sounds weird but it is true.The brushless motor is really efficient and runs much quieter than the gas powered blowers my neighbors use. I love that it only weighs 8.4 pounds and my back does not have to handle the heavy lifting anymore. The high speed auger spins at 21,200 rpm and clears a 10 inch path which is perfect for my narrow walkways. It has way more power than a manual shovel and makes the whole process so much faster. I was worried about the battery life but the 20V 5.0 Ah pack lasted through my entire driveway and the porch steps.You really get a lot of value here compared to those bulky machines that take up the whole garage. It is nice to have something that fits in a small corner once the job is finished. I noticed the build quality is solid and the telescoping handle makes a big difference for my posture. I am glad I recieved this before the initial big storm of the season. This tool is a reliable choice for anyone who hates traditional shoveling as much as I do.jennie

I have spent many years wrestling with heavy shovels and gas powered blowers, and this cordless snow shovel is quite impressive because it is light enough for me to clear my porch and steps without any back strain. I just popped the battery in and it cleared the fresh light dusting off my walkway in minutes, throwing the snow much further than I thought it would. The telescoping handle is a great touch for my height (it keeps me from hunching over), and it runs much quieter than the old loud equipment I used to use. Since it weighs under ten pounds, it is a very manageable tool for someone my age to grab for quick clean up jobs after a morning flurry.
