"I have found so many uses for this clog remover. So, I have definitely used it in one of our drains that isn't even clogged, just to see what would happen, and SURPRISE, I got some gunk out. Now, for an unlikely blessing I found in this, a balloon grabber! My daughter released her Valentine's Day balloon in our vaulted living room, and this thing came in clutch. We rescued the balloon super easily. To my surprise, the claws on it are powerful. I put my finger in them to see how strong they were, and it actually hurt a little bit. You've got to have a little bit of strength to open the prongs, but man, it's worth it. I will never buy another one of those plastic drain snakes that are pretty much trash after one use. This is perfect and efficient. I was a little nervous that the diameter of the snake would be too wide, but I was able to get it into the drain, so I'm not complaining about that. I do feel like there could be a little extra length to make it optimal, but it's not a big issue for my family's needs."

This product is so simple it falls.under that category of "why I didnt think about this before"Right on it's very first use, the day it arrived, it saved a 24 carat gold next chain that fell in the shower drain. I retrieved it in under 3 seconds and I didnt have to unscrew the floor drain.This grabber is so simple it doesnt require instructions at all. Its very flexible and its AMAZING.it paid itself at least 20 times only in the first use.After I retrieved the chain, I used it to pull hair from the drain.... For the price, this item is a great value to buy BEFORE you need it just so you have it on hand. It feels very durable and works well. The malleable nature of the outer sheath allows it to travel through a lot of tight places to assist in picking up small items that could have fallen in very hard to reach spaces, as well as it's intended use for drains and the like. This grabber feels very durable and I don't see it breaking any point in the future unless it get severely abused somehow.
