"I bought this to replace a beloved Corsair K70 Lux Blue with PBT caps that was still going strong after 12 years until I spilled tea on it. May it RIP. :( I wanted my next keyboard to be a custom one, but that's not in the budget right now so I got this as a tide over. For the money, it's very good and I quite like it, but there are some caveats. For what you're paying, you're getting really good build quality here. It's a 100% keyboard (none of that tenkeyless scaled down nonsense the kids are into now), has a very solid aluminum frame with no flex, the key switches are replaceable (more on that later) and it supports USB-C wired, 2.4Ghz wireless AND Bluetooth functionality. I use it wired on my desktop, but being able to pair it to my gaming laptop and just pick it up and use it on that is something I didn't know I'd like so much. The RGB is fully customizable and the Redragon software is far from the worst I've seen, but it's UI isn't the greatest and many of the presets are hard to customize or just limiting in general. One nice plus it that it will save your settings to the keyboard's firmware, so you don't have to have the software running all the time. It also has macro recording capabilities, though I never use those functions. Do note though that you can only program the keyboard with the software through USB-C or 2.4Ghz mode though. For typing feel, my previous keyboard had genuine Cherry MX Red switches in it, which I like because they have quick response and aren't as loud as Blue switches, though I do love the feel of those. This keyboard uses knockoff Red switches they call Quiet Red. The response and force needed to trigger them is still very good, making this great for fast-paced gaming, but the sound and tactile feel when typing definitely isn't the same. At one point when I was a streamer, I put rubber gaskets under my Corsair keys so the typing wasn't picked up by my mic and that's what these feel like. They're quieter, but also feel a bit mushier because it feels like they have a rubber layer underneath them. Personally, I got used to it in less than a day, but if you're really picky about that "Red feel", you either might not like this or might want to consider replacing your switches. On that note, this keyboard does have replaceable switches and they even include a tool to do it. However, the tool is very cheap and the while the switches aren't too stiff, the tool doesn't work great. If you plan to swap them, spending the bit of money on a Kemove switch pulled is well worth it. If you want to replace your keycaps, there's also the fact that this unit has a number of "Function" buttons for things like media controls and standalone RGB control and your replacement keys won't have those markings so you'd need a cheat sheet. The Fn button also replaced the right side Windows key, which will annoy some people and still annoys me as I'm learning to only use the left side one. The included manual leaflet is also useless and literally doesn't explain what half of these buttons do. For a couple of them, I had to email support to ask, though they did get back to me with an answer very quick. My other gripe is the M LED that sits beside Num/Caps/Scroll Lock. When I first plugged the keyboard in, this lit up one colour, then eventually turned pnk. This is also not explained in the manual, but support told me that it's a battery charging indicator (not sure what the M actually means). The problem is that the pink LED indicates that the battery is at full charge, but it never turns off and you can't disable it. So this bright LED that might clash with your RGB choice is just always there as long as you're running wired. Worse, this indicates that the keyboard is constantly trying to charge when it's plugged in. Given that the battery is internal and not user-swappable, this to me indicates that it will cause premature wear on it, requiring you to a) find a replacement and b) have to disassemble the keyboard to change it at some point. Why they couldn't either just have the M LED go out when the keyboard's done charging or put a second switch on the bottom that allows you to just disable charging entirely, I don't know. This feels half-baked to me, but appears to be the way most of their wireless capable models work. That last point is the only reason this is getting docked to four stars instead of five. Overall, this is a fantastic keyboard and I dare say, is the best quality to value ratio keyboard in its class right now. And if you don't like the switches, it's still a good value because replacement switches are cheap and this makes changing them a breeze. I can't speak to the longevitiy of the stock keycaps because I haven't used it long enough yet to see them wear, just know that while you can change them, you'll have to make note of those badly documented secondary functions.A great value mechanical keyboard overall that I would recommend to most. Despite the shortcomings above, it greatly exceeded"

The media could not be loaded. Really great. Keep in mind It doesn’t have a number pad, when I bought it, I didn’t take this into account but overall it’s amazing.

I’ve been using the Redragon K556 HE for a few weeks now, and it’s genuinely transformed my gaming setup. The 100% full-sized layout with 104 keys feels solid under my fingers, and the dedicated Hall Effect magnetic switches are incredibly responsive. Each keypress registers almost instantly, which makes fast-paced games feel smoother and gives me a real competitive edge. The hyper-fast actuation is noticeable right away, and I love the subtle tactile feedback without the distracting noise thanks to the 2-layer noise dampening.Beyond performance, the build quality is top-notch. The original aluminum base feels robust and premium, yet not overly heavy, making it feel durable without taking over my desk. It’s also very stable—no wobbling during intense gaming sessions. Typing on this keyboard for everyday use is just as satisfying as gaming; it’s comfortable for long hours without fatigue. The design strikes a great balance between sleek aesthetics and functional durability. Overall, this keyboard is a solid choice for anyone looking for a high-performance mechanical keyboard that excels in both gaming and productivity.

This Redragon keyboard is quiet impressive for the price. The rapid trigger keys feel insanely responsive. Its perfect for gaming. The Hall Effect switches make every press so smooth. It’s got a nice weight to the keyboard with the aluminum base and made with premium materials. The noise dampening actually helps so it’s not super loud. Totally worth it if you want speed and quality without breaking the bank.
