"The media could not be loaded. Based on the stated "0.8 Sones", I expected to have a hard time knowing whether this was on. While it's significantly and happily quieter than my old one, I definitely know when it's on.The instructions weren't clear. Maybe you're supposed to remove the tapered duct on the fan and the electrical box to put it up through the ceiling and have the flange against the ceiling while only having cut a smaller area. Nothing about that was mentioned, so we ended up with a bigger area cut to fit it and had a tough time with it.Overall, we'll definitely be happier with this quieter model since our old one was hard to hear anything over. But I don't know how they're advertising this as 0.8 Sones with a straight face.For commentary on ensuring the line is 6" all the way, to decibel testing (before/after) and conversions, see my video."

Très satisfait de ce ventilateur de salle de bain. L’installation s’est faite pas mal plus facilement que je pensais, même pour un gars pas si pire manuel comme moi. Les instructions sont claires et tout s’aligne bien.Il est vraiment silencieux, on l’entend à peine, mais il fait super bien la job pour évacuer l’humidité. Grosse différence comparé à mon ancien ventilateur.Pour le prix, ça vaut vraiment la peine. Bon produit, efficace et pas compliqué à installer. Je recommande.david gervais

The vent outlet on the unit has a flap which is great for separation, however it is a potential point of futur failure (might last forever). Very happy with sound level and price.goulyet
