"This extender outlet is pretty tall with the light on the top. It has 2 plugs that are 3 prong on the front and can be turned on and off with the buttons or the app. You can also lock the buttons out inside the app. I don't particularly like how the plugs are turned sideways. I also think the USB is underpowered for this day and time. It should have at least been a 20 Watt PD, but its not. Very slow charging. I still not sure at this point that they are going to work out for me. I may end up returning for another option."

You can't have to many receptacles. I have my share of smart ones that I use to automate lights around the house and I was very please when I found this one with a light and 2 slots that can be programed and work with my Google Home set up. the unit is very easy to set up, just download the app and with a press of a button you can pair it with the app. There are plenty of choices to program the unit. It also provided power via USB and USB-C slot. Once you have it configured just get to google home and select "works with google" once it finds the app, you can log in and they will be available on the app for you.
