"The media could not be loaded. Setup was very easy, and I had the app running and printing almost right away. There’s a good variety of models to choose from, with new ones being added regularly. After about a month of pretty heavy use, I haven’t had a single issue with the printer: no nozzle adjustments, no head alignment problems, nothing breaking or needing fixing. That alone made me really happy, especially considering how much I’ve printed already thanks to the already provided spools of filament in which there are 8 in varying colours. One thing I really appreciate is the magnetic, flexible build plate. Taking prints off is simple as I just bend the plate slightly, and the model pops free without fighting it or risking damage. The surface material also seems to help with clean releases, which keeps things easy when getting the model off. Swapping filament spools is also straightforward, and the app walks you through it with a clear, helpful video. The feature that really made me happy is the ability to import STL files. Being able to print models from all over the internet instead of being locked into just the app’s library gives it a lot more freedom and long-term value. The print quality has been consistently impressive too, with very clean results with only a few minor mishaps, which is more due to how complicated the model is that it’s printing. My nephew is completely convinced it’s a magic machine and constantly asks to print things on it.The only small downside is the smell while printing. That’s kind of unavoidable since it’s melting plastic, but it does use PLA, which is generally considered the safest option. I’d still recommend running it in a well-ventilated or open area just to keep things comfortable. After all the use I have gotten out of it, I couldn’t be happier with this printer. It’s been reliable, easy to use, and genuinely fun."

Pros:- Setup is way less intimidating than other 3D printers I’ve tried. The app walks you through loading filament and getting your first print going, so you can basically plug it in, connect it to wifi, pick a model, and watch it start printing without digging through a giant manual.- The built in toy and model library is actually useful. There are tons of small figures, keychains, hooks, and little organizers, so kids can pick something and see it turn into a real object in under an hour, which really helps keep their interest.- Print quality is surprisingly clean for a “kids” printer. The layers look even, small details like text and tiny shapes come out readable, and finished pieces feel solid enough to throw in a backpack or sit on a desk without falling apart.- The enclosed design feels safer around curious kids, since there are no open hot parts for them to poke at, and it also keeps dust and hands out of the print area so you get fewer messed up prints from someone bumping into it.- The built in camera and app control are nice quality of life features. Being able to check progress from your phone, pause a print if something went wrong, or save a time lapse of a toy slowly appearing out of nowhere is just fun and makes it easier to keep an eye on things from another room.Cons:- The build volume is on the small side, so you are limited to mini figures, keychains, small organizers, that kind of thing; anything bigger will need to be split into parts or just isn’t realistic to print on this.- The app is powerful but a bit cluttered with options and AI stuff, and it can feel overwhelming at first when all you really want is “pick model, press print”, so there is a bit of a learning curve for the menus.Current title: AI-Powered 3D Printer for Kids, Beginner 3D Printer with 8 PLA Filament Set, Huge Toy Library & Modify, Wi-Fi & App Control, Create STEM Toys, High Precision, 16+ Mini 3D Design Module, X-Maker Joy

Wow, so much fun! This is the first 3D printer we’ve used that truly feels beginner-friendly, and it’s the kind of product where you go from “let’s try it” to “what else can we print?” really fast.Setup was easier than I expected for a 3D printer. The app/wifi control makes it feel more like a smart toy than a complicated machine, and the built-in design/toy library is the best part for kids because you’re not starting from zero. Pick a model, load the filament, and you can get a real result without needing to learn 3d drawing first.Print quality surprised me. The models we printed came out clean enough to look like actual toys, not melted blobs. Small details showed up well, and the layers looked consistent. Having multiple PLA colors included is a big bonus because kids immediately want to swap colors and “customize” everything.Up to now, we've printed so many different things I can't keep up, but here's a few of my and our kid print:Small animals replica, name tags, keychain, backpack charms, a little sign for a door, a headphone hook, a phone stand, 2 small organizer.A couple realistic notes: it’s still a real 3D printer, so younger kids will need supervision for loading filament and starting prints, and you’ll want a clear space where it can run without being bumped. But as a STEM gift that produces real “I made this” results, it’s a hit.

Wow I’m pretty impressed with this 3D printer for kids… as a beginner myself with 3D printing I couldn’t be happier with my experience… so easy to use and good results. The set up of this printer was simple and easy enough to follow for a beginner, I was using it within 20 minutes of opening. It looks nice visually, smaller than I expected which I like as it doesn’t talk up much space. I love that this set up included the filaments, very convenient and plenty of colour variety. The app experience was smooth for me and plenty of fun scrolling through 3D designs that are all ready to be printed. The design section is fun as well and I’m looking forward to messing around with it some more. The camera inside is decent quality and I love being able to view the creation of what I make.Overall a fun experience and good 3D printing results so far, my favourite part was being able to decorate the printer to look like my favourite pokemon.

This is my first time using a 3D printer, and I have been using it…

This is my first time using a 3D printer, and I have been using it to create toys for my  nephews, and have brought it to my school classroom to share the experience with my students. This machine can do so much - It's pretty awesome. On my own, I have been using the app to print pre-made designs. It's very simple to select design and start printing - no separate design software is required at all. I have been using my phone, but kids could use a tablet or desktop instead. There are lots of designs to print and customize, with no additional costs. The app can get a bit cluttered with options, and the AI functions not the greatest / smartest, but it's not that terrible either. After my successes, I wanted to share the experience with my students- and they have been so excited about it! We have been using separate 3D design software to design keychains, which I export as standard .STL files. The XMaker software is able to import and print these files without any problems. It's a very smooth process. The machine is quiet and does not interrupt lessons. As a teacher, I love how many skills this develops: 3D geometry, measurement, creating designs with constraints (size, colour, time, and cost). The students wish they could do more of it!  I wouldn't necessarily recommend this device as a classroom 3D printer (definitely more of a household printer due to its limited size), but it is amazing to see how all my students respond to it.Overall, this XMaker is an absolute hit with kids. It's been reliable to print with. It provides a lot of flexibility in how you want to make designs - even in the variety of PLA filament included. While the AI functions are not all that impressive, there's a lot of amazing stuff with or without it.
