"Updated review:There is no AI search functionality when the Trackflex floodlight cam is connected to the Hub Pro.I purchased both and after set up, found that there was basic search, but no AI search functionality. I reached out to Reolink Support and got the following response in return.“We regret to let you know that when the TrackFlex Floodlight WiFi is added to the Home Hub Pro, the camera will not support the AI video search as the Home Hub Pro does not support the AI video search feature.”It would’ve been nice to know this before purchase, but there is a workaround. By connecting the camera directly to the network rather than the hub, enhanced AI search functionality is retained. The caveat being the increased congestion on the network from each additional device.Despite my initial disappointment, the Reolink Support Team proved to be responsive and helpful. Although support was accomplished strictly via email, replies were generally received within a days time. After becoming more familiarized with how these cameras work, I have decided to place an additional order."

This floodlight security camera system from Reolink is a reliable and high quality option for home security with strong performance and convenient features. The dual cameras produce clear, high resolution footage and perform well in both daytime and nighttime conditions. The floodlights are very bright and do a great job illuminating the surrounding area when triggered. Since it’s hardwired, you don’t have to worry about charging or replacing batteries, and the app is easy to use without requiring any subscription. Connectivity also remains stable even when accessing it from farther away, which makes monitoring more dependable.Because it is hardwired, installation may take more effort compared to battery powered options, especially if you’re replacing an older fixture. This makes it better suited for permanent setups rather than temporary or quick installations.I’d recommend it if you want a dependable floodlight camera system with excellent image quality and no subscription fees.classic

Even though I haven’t installed the REOLINK TrackFlex Floodlight WiFi camera yet, I’m very impressed so far. The unit feels solid and well-built right out of the box, with a premium design that inspires confidence in its durability. I do have other premium reolink products installedThe specs are outstanding — the 4K dual-lens camera, 360° PTZ movement, and 6X hybrid zoom promise excellent coverage and clarity. The 3000-lumen floodlight is bright and looks like it will provide great visibility and security once installed.Setup looks straightforward, and the overall quality gives me high expectations for performance. Based on first impressions, this feels like a top-tier security camera and an easy 5-star purchase.veraciously vicious reviews

I have this mounted to cover my back porch and it does what a security camera is supposed to do. The 4K dual-lens setup is the main thing that sets this apart in its price range. Most cameras at this tier give you one lens and you choose between wide coverage and detail. This one runs both simultaneously so you get a full yard view and a zoomed close-up at the same time in the app. When the auto-tracking kicks in and follows movement across the frame it actually works, not the sluggish delayed tracking you see on cheaper PTZ cameras. The 3000 lumens of floodlight is genuinely bright and having two color temperatures is a nice touch. The local AI video search is something I did not expect at this price point. Being able to search recorded footage by describing what you are looking for rather than scrubbing through hours of clips manually is a real practical feature, and because it is processed on the device there is no monthly subscription fee attached to it. Cameras several times the price in professional security tiers still push you toward cloud subscriptions for that kind of functionality. The software interface is where this falls short. The app gets the basics done but the layout and feature organization need work. Some settings take too many taps to reach and the overall experience does not match the hardware quality. Not a dealbreaker but you notice it.The bigger issue for my situation is the hardwired power requirement. There is no battery option and that limits where you can realistically mount it. I ended up having to tie it into my back porch light circuit which means my porch light has to stay on to keep the camera powered until I figure out a cleaner wiring solution. If you have an existing outdoor outlet or floodlight fixture nearby this is a non-issue. If you do not, plan the installation before you buy. Great camera overall and for the price the feature set is hard to beat. The power situation is just something to think through ahead of time.all smiles
I was looking for a camera for the end of my house at the garage…
I was looking for a camera for the end of my house at the garage entrance. I wanted something that would help me monitor when someone comes up our drive and approaches our home. I have other Reolink cameras, so this camera seemed like a natural choice. What I have loved about my other Reolink cameras is that they have been reliable, the pictures have good resolution and are clear, and they don’t require a pesky subscription, which is awesome! To be honest, I had originally wanted to install a camera where we have a flood light now, that hangs from the eve of our house. I was unable to find a camera that would work as a light, a camera, and install from my eve. Well, at least not a camera that I had any confidence in. Most cameras that I found were wall mounted cameras and I thought this one was too. I was pleasantly surprised that this camera can be hung either way. It’s just a quick and simple adjustment that allows the mount portion to be rotated to accommodate either installation. The description actually does mention the dual mounting option, I just didn’t notice it. Because my husband and I had already made a final decision to place the camera over the garage doors we proceeded to wall mount this camera with plans to add additional cameras in the future. The install itself was pretty easy and straight forward. Because we already have Reolink cameras we already had the app and simply added this camera. One thing that I hadn’t thought about is how difficult it might be to hang a camera and then connect it at that height since it’s hardwired. Luckily, Reolink thought of that and provides a USB-C port that allowed us to connect the camera and test it before actually hanging it on the side of the house. That saved a good bit of ladder climbing right there. Once we had the camera connected and set up, we just wired the light into the existing box and we were all set. So far, we have been very happy with this camera. The pictures are clear and it keeps a consistent connection to our network. We now have peace of mind that we can monitor what happens at our home even when we aren’t there.htk

This is a really impressive light, right from the way it is presented in the internal (Looks to be laser cut foam to protect and present well) packaging to the instructions, to all of the “extras” that make it easy to install and configure. I’ve not used any of the Reolink products in the past, nor had I even heard of the brand, but I will certainly be looking into their offerings as this one is first rate. Let me explain more…This camera is designed to be hardwired for power but utilizes Wi-Fi for connectivity and transmitting the images. This is exactly what I needed as I’m using this on a workshop that is in a rural connection. I’ve power to the exterior of my building for floodlights already, and installing this was as simple as unscrewing the old floodlight, and wiring this in. I especially appreciated that Reolink thought ahead and provided a way via USB power to bench test and configure the light before the final installation on the outside wall where I needed to be up on a ladder 15’ in the air. This feature alone allowed me to really get to know the camera and make sure it was set up as I wanted.Quickly I do need to mention that the floodlight capabilities of this unit are first rate as well. They light up the area. My only slight frustration is that I’m not sure if the flood lights can be activated by motion as I haven’t figured that out yet. It’s not the end of the world as I’m okay with the light activating based upon light level (dusk/dawn), but it might be nice to have the option of using motion instead. It seems like that should be simple since the camera triggers with motion. If Reolink reads this, I’d sure appreciate a note to let me know if this is possible.Otherwise, I’m very impressed also with the video quality, the ability to pan/zoom, tilt and the tracking capabilities of the camera are cool since I’m wanting to monitor unauthorized access to my property. This camera certainly accomplishes that for me. Oh, the resolution is good as well and the wide field of view is perfect for what I’m trying to do.The app itself is pretty darn good. Unfortunately, I’ve got several different brand cameras at the property so I’m bouncing between multiple apps, but this one is as good, or better than most. Someday I’ve got to figure out if I can incorporate all the cameras through a single pane of glass… That would be very cool. Finally, I need to mention the build quality and my impression of how solid of a unit this is. Many of the cameras I’ve bought over the years are inexpensive and feel it. While this is on the higher end of what I would spend, it certainly feels like it is worth the price. The quality is head and shoulders above what most of my other cameras are. What Customers Talk About
