"I was really hoping for a rockstar type item out of this.I tested this with my iPhone 16 Pro Max using an official Apple USB-C to Lightning cable and Apple wall adapter. The max charging rate I got? Just 6.1W. That’s painfully slow.At that rate, the phone can’t even hold its charge if you’re using it while plugged in.I had high hopes for this product, especially the idea of finally putting my USB-C to Lightning cables to good use with a USB-C-only iPhone. But it just doesn’t deliver. Hard pass."

It's small enough to fit in an apple branded case hole to connect it to your phone. Cheap, but feels and looks premium. no connectivity issues as the usb-c plug is durable and securely connects. The led screen is bright and quickly tells you wattage used and if Power Delivery protocol is being used. This is a good tool to help diagnose any power issues with your toys.raven w

I ordered this adapter because my brother-in-law still uses an older iPhone, and I realized I didn’t have a lightning cable on hand when his phone was dying and he needed to use my battery pack. This little adapter solved that problem perfectly. I now keep it wrapped around my charge pack that has a built-in USB-C cable, so I’m always covered whether someone needs USB-C or Lightning. So many times I've used USB chargers and wires to charge up my devices, and I've thought THIS IS TAKING TOO LONG!! But it's so hard to figure out why. Is it the charger? The wire? But finally with this Mcdodo USB adapter, I get visibility into the performance of my adapters and wires. It's amazing how easy it is to find the charging hardware that actually works. Now I can use devices that help my phone and iPad charge up in literally minutes, not hours. I recommend this to ANYONE who struggles with waiting on long charging times. You need to get this, because just like me, having visibility into power performance is a game changer. I threw out almost half of the junk chargers and wires that did not work properly. Couldn't be happier, honestly, this adapter has completely changed my approach to setting up chargers around the house for me and my family. This little guy has gown everywhere with me to help me monitor which cables are the best ones for my charging and data transfer needs. I have realized just how many cables I've got that are not working for me for data and charging needs. I have purged my collection so I get the best charge every time.
