"I’ve been testing this external battery with my Oculus Quest 3, and overall, it does its job very well. When I connected it at 96%, an hour later the headset was still at 96%. In fact, when I shut the headset down and checked back later, it had even topped it up to 99% (and the battery was flashing the last of its 4 status lights). For practical use, it’s excellent at holding or maintaining the Quest 3’s battery level during play sessions.That said, the way it’s marketed can be a little misleading. Most people are used to seeing battery capacity listed in milliamp hours (mAh). This product, however, lists its capacity in milliwatt hours (mWh). Unless you know the conversion, you might assume the numbers are comparable. For example, this battery is labeled as 20,000 mWh. At 5 volts, that actually works out to only about 4,000 mAh (20,000 ÷ 5 = 4,000).To put that in perspective:A “10,000 mAh” pack (the way most are labeled) has over twice the capacity of this one.If you see “20,000 mWh” and think it’s better than a “10,000 mAh” pack, that’s not the case.So, while the performance is good for its actual size, I think the advertising could be clearer. If you’re shopping by capacity alone, make sure you’re comparing apples to apples (mAh vs mAh, not mWh vs mAh).Bottom line: This is a reliable little battery pack for keeping your Quest 3 topped up, but just be aware of the math behind the numbers before buying."
