"This stuff certainly absorbs water, I added some to both cold and hot water and the resulting hard blob of something horrible looking in the glass after a while was disconcerting, and this is going in your gut. You really need to drink plenty of water after taking it, if you make sure you do this it works well. If taken in cold liquid or a smoothie, consume it straight away!I like to add extra fibre to meals, mixed in to anything with a sauce just before serving, but this makes the sauce gelatinous and unpleasant for me. I have other fibre powders which do not do this, and so will use those instead. It is good for gluten-free baking though. 1kg for £16 is good value."
