"These propagation stations work great for small/immature propagations. The jars are sturdy, and they are visually appealing enough that you can use them long-term if desired. I used two of these to display plants using water as the substrate in my office and I love how they turned out.My only complaint about this item is that the cork lid is one solid piece, with no splits, so it's difficult to remove plants with large roots from the lid. To address this, I have cut a slit in one side of my cork on several of these lids. They cut easily with a kitchen knife without damaging or diminishing the visual appearance of the cork."

I got these because a few of the herbs in my hydroponics garden were getting SUPER big, so I needed a way to keep the garden manageable because the big herbs were hogging all the light (which hurt the other herbs from growing). Anyway, these containers are great for that (until I plant them in soil and put them outside). I removed two of the large herbs, moved them into each container, and am keeping them fresh until I’m ready to use them while allowing the other herbs to thrive in the hydroponics garden.andy patel
