The hydrophobic properties of this is really good. I would say its equal to Rain-x when its brand new. Expect Rain-x doesnt last for nearly as long. Ive done several washes on my vehicle as well as using wipe fluid every once in a while and it is still working really well now since about 4 months ago. Rain-x you start to notice its weakening significantly in just a couple weeks. The main downside ive noticed is after applying it takes a LOT of elbow grease to fully buff it in. I kept going and going and could still see a haze, took about 15 minutes and a sore shoulder to get it done. Maybe I needed to apply it thinner, but either way Im getting a polishing wheel attachment for my drill for next time.strongimpactfitness
