"Got this for an elderly relative to replace their existing flip phone, as Rogers is shutting down their 3G network at the end of July.Despite this listing very clearly claiming Rogers 4G / VoLTE support, Rogers 4G / VoLTE *does not* work with this device, and as of July 31st EOD it will stop working on their network.What a gigantic waste of time switching the relative over to find out they're in no better position. But hopefully I can stop others from buying this item with a clearly wrong listing when it will be a paper-weight in the very near future."

I grabbed this phone to help ease myself into a "Digital Detox" and boy let me tell you it is EFFECTIVE. It works perfectly on the Rogers network and registered without issue or delay when I put my sim card in. It uses VoLTE which is clear. The "lite" version of Android means you can still use some basic functions and I was even able to download my own preferred launch app (Niagara Launcher) and my preferred music streaming app.sankaabeysinghe

alright so i have had one of these for two years and i can whole heartedly endorse that people buy one of these if you are rough on stuff. i work construction...i have beat the dickens out of this thing and its still functional. List of things i have done to it...dropped it in a lake and it stayed under for 15 minutes at least....dropped 60ish feet onto concrete...ran it over with my car by mistake...twice...it took a blow from a crowbar that i as using to lift a barn that if it hadn't of it would have shattered my femur( had a bruise the size of a dinner plate on my thigh for a week...) and yes that cracked the little screen on the front but that was in the first week of owning it..im two years in and it had finally started to break down a bit( speaker is sporadic and sometimes doesn't work)only major issue is the size of the keyboard because its tiny to be honest but slide type makes it manageable. all in all good phone for a trades man for sure and for a kid...i think it could eb a good choice...but i digressryan b

One of the only options in the semi-dumb phone market. Fills a niche where you get smart phone functionality on a simple flip phone. We tried a basic Nokia brick phone but its almost impossible to do life without some basic apps like WhatsApp or messenger. This phone allows for that. My 14 year old son researched and decided on this phone after coming to the conclusion that traditional smart phones are too distracting. He also loves the nostalgia feel of the keyboard....kids these days seem to love the 80s-90s tech lol. He installed the t11 keyboard app and uses the physical keys only for typing despite there being a touchscreen. Battery life is awesome, gets up to 3 days out of it. Can't best this unit for the price and functionality. It's been fun seeing my kid mesmerized by it....while I think it looks completely awkward and annoying. Most will want to stick with their traditional smartphone, but this unit definitely fills a niche and it does it well. Would be nice if they sold a charging dock for it to use the charging pins on the back.old hush

To all who put bad reviews because the phone doesn't work with Rogers/Fido after 3G network shutdown:***YES, It DOES WORK with Rogers/Fido after 3G shutdown, just add another Internet APN Settings!***You may search for "Rogers Internet APN Settings for S22".My son's S22 stopped working after July 30, can send/receive SMS only.BTW - I was warned well in advance by Rogers that his phone had been set to 3G only, they did their due diligence to inform me what's up.After adding new set Internet APN settings - it started working like a charm!P.S. Great phone, BTW, one of a kind, too bad that no one makes such great "mix" between old-school senior's dump flip phone, but powered by actual Android with full blown touch-screen capabilities!chris h
