"The media could not be loaded. I purchased these because our under mount sink started to come detached and dropped 1” on one end. This all happened while my wife was washing some dishes on Christmas Eve - about 1 hour before a huge family gathering. I used a small car jack and a spacer to temporarily lift the sink back into place after running a bead of sikaflex sealant (mental note, keep clear gorilla brand construction adhesive sealant on hand). My son immediately went looking for a solution online and found this concept and product on Amazon. He saved the day as I was not able to use clips as the counter is granite and very difficult to access properly without removing the 300# counter top.These were around $30.00. I wanted to get them asap so I looked on Home Depot and found a product very similar that was over $100!!! - so it was worth waiting a couple days.These arrived in about 3 days. They are made of cheap steel (not the stainless as represented) and the magnet level I was using would not stick to it. They did come complete as represented, were packaged well and included easy to follow instructions and assembly tools.In preparation, I cut 2 lengths of 1x at 18” which is the “width” of my sink and screwed them together. I placed them “on end” close to the outer edges as shown in the video so as to avoid damaging the sink, ruining the built in drainage slope seam, and felt that the ends the sink are its strongest point as the metal is rounded, bent and cornered.I assembled the legs and actually installed them “upside down” as the padded ends attached to the adjustment screw would not rotate without twisting the top plate (welded to the plate bottom) and therefore the wood reinforcement. This is a design flaw on my opinion. The top plate should be able to remain in orientation securely under the material while adjusting the height with a nut separate from the one welded to the plate. This doesn’t make sense. (Throw the wrench away).As shown, by doing it this way, the top and bottom plates remained oriented properly as I twisted them up to the desired pressure (the slip in plate remains stationary while the pipe turns) and height to support the sink as well and provided the desired strength.SHOULD YOU BUY???Although made of cheap steel (I’m generally pretty picky about home improvement products and tools) these are definitely worth the money. I have full confidence that these will last until I replace the sink years down the road (or until told to do so by my beautiful wife). Anyone with an under mount sink and a high quality disposal system should have these types of structural supports. Total peace of mind (now).Note : the cabinet flooring in most instances is not structural! It flexes and can crack or worse. That is why I placed another 1x - this time flat - at the bottom to simply distribute the weight. It seemed to have the desired effect.Good luck! I’m sure you will like these if you are needing them."
