"I never really leave reviews, but I’m compelled to in this case as this thing is likely to used by people to determine how much power chargers and putting out and devices are receiving. The numbers it shows do seem to be accurate, HOWEVER, the issue is that, for some reason, on some devices, it seems to mess with PD negotiation. On chargers that I know can output 15V, it will not negotiate to 15V, it will only charge the device at 5V 3A. In this case, my iPhone 17 pro max, and iPad Pro. Some devices it doesn’t mess with and will negotiate properly. I have several other usb c power testers and they all will let the charger negotiate 15V with the iPhone and iPad, and allow and read a much faster charging rate. Using this tester I almost threw out some perfectly good chargers thinking they had some issue and were not putting out the proper power, but it was just this tester not allowing them to receive the proper power - they would charge differently and faster without this device in the line. In my opinion that is unforgivable for the nature of this device being to test things. It’s fine for some devices but not for others. I need a tester that is consistent and accurate in all cases, so I can blame issues on chargers, cables, or devices, not question the tester itself. It also shows the current arrow(s) going the wrong way consistently, not a big deal, easy to overlook, but another note. Seems to be a sloppy design.I suppose I could be using it wrong, somehow, but even then that’s frustrating, because again I have several other testers I pop in place exactly the same way and they don’t have the issue."

Very impressed display is bright and clear and gives all the info you need, and you can rotate the display to suit your needs. Bear in mind it is a bit wider than a normal plug, so it won't fit every device, but you can plug it in either endshavey

This is super useful, it has a lot of information but it's pretty easy to read. Even without instructions the button on the back is simple, one click to change screen, two to change rotation. I can't speak for it's accuracy but as a general "this is useful to own" product I'm very pleased I bought it. Would recommend.max n
