It’s a bit big and gloss makes shuffling kind of hard if you don’t do it slow because these things glide on each other. I love these cards. They are beautiful and thicker than regular cards. Some other decks I’ve bought with foil edging had started peeling by now and these still look great. I love the pictures and the shininess of the cards. I will give a warning though, they are incredibly slick. My first reading I swear the entire deck jumped out of my (very small) hands. Well that’s one way to shuffle! Since then I’ve practiced holding them better and have far fewer issues.Anonymous

Full disclosure, I was looking for these for months but didn’t know the name and finally sat down and scrolled through listings and then found them. They lived rent free in my head for about 6 months. All this to say, I had very high hopes and I’m happy to say they did not disappoint! This is the tarot deck my husband uses and it fits his style perfectly. The black cards with the silver holographic detailing look great in person. The cardstock is a little thinner than some of the higher end decks, but it still feels like real cardstock and not flimsy.The guidebook is surprisingly good. It includes upright and reversed meanings, keywords, short messages, spreads, and a simple explanation of the suits. It has everything you need for reading without feeling overwhelming.The only issue is the size. The cards are slightly too big to fit into standard tarot deck boxes or pouches with the guidebook! We normally store our decks in small travel cases, and this one does not fit into any of them (unless we don’t include the guidebook).Overall, the deck shuffles well, looks beautiful, and reads clearly. My husband reaches for it often and really enjoys working with it.TLDR: Beautiful holographic deck with a useful guidebook.
