"Not what I expected. Read "Stackable ... Bins with Lid" and thought that each bin has a lid and stacking these makes it look like a 5 tier shelf with transparent doors. Also thought variable configuration. Was I wrong! First, there are 5 bins separately packed (in plastic bag). I took out the first one which had a lid. As I unpacked others, no lid. I wanted to use as 2 + 2 + 1. Not possible. I have figured out that loosing 1 bin, I can have 2 + 2 with unequal height. Of course, using them in 2 different locations, that would be fine. I guess it is possible to do 2 + 3. By flipping one stack upside down where your floor is the base and rough base becomes the top lid. Not practical.The design idea is good. The assembly is easy. The ring hold each bin frame together. Bin assembly takes about 20 seconds. The plastic pieces of the bin are thin, flexible, and cheap. The snap-ins are poor, but as long as they snap in, the ring does a good job of holding the walls (frame) in place. Each bin stacks on top of the bin, held in place by the groove that inserts on to the ring. Side clamps lock in the bin on top. So it stacks 5. The last one gets the lid. There are wheels and but I did not use them.Overall, this stacking bin unit is fine for lightweight items. The bins are thin and cheap quality plastic. The product description is not clear so check that along with pictures and read the small labels. The price is high for 5 bins and 1 lid. While the bins are stackable, unused bins would be unusable. Have not really put any heavy items yet so time will tell how long these would hold up."
