"As you can see I am not small! However I do like to hike, even though hiking is painful for me due to a bad back (reason for me putting on weight) I also have a bad knee from a fall. These poles really helped to take the pressure off my back which didn't nip once which is a miracle for me, and my knee which usually aches quite a lot after hiking. These poles felt sturdy and I felt supported by them going down the mountain on slippery parts, and we're easy to clip together. They are also easily adjusted. I also liked that the mud guard is a complete disk (my old poles disc had small splits in them which would annoyingly get caught up in bushes ect but I didn't have that issue with these new poles. I like that you have an option for the type of rubber foot you use and that they come in a handy storage bag. I also enjoyed the fun, vibrant colour as my old ones were boring black! The handle straps are also easily adjusted. The only thing for me. Was that there was a slight rubbage with the part of the strap nearest to the handle, by I am sure that will soften with use. I am very happy with this product and with the help of them managed to hike not only low level, but also up Dodd in the Lake District which is 502 metres :)"
