"I am a true lover of all things ice. Seriously, everything is improved by ice.I don't have a fancy ice machine, so I'm always looking for ways to make it easier to keep ice stocked for a family of 5.Funnily enough, I totally misunderstood how big the container would be, so when it came, I was very surprised by the size and skeptical of its usefulness. Okay, let's talk concrete details.Pros:1. It does its job well. The ice comes out in cute little squares.2. It takes up very little space in the freezer.3. Very easy to use. All you gotta do is fill it up to the line, pop the center in, put in in the freezer, wait a couple of hours, pull out the center, and pop out the squares from the mold.Cons:1. It's tiny. It creates enough ice for 2 drinks max2. If you leave it in the freezer too long, the ice expands and is more difficult to remove.Final grade: A-A cute idea, and it does have some usefulness, but some features such as the size can be improved."

I freeze mango nectar in mine and use the juice cubes to make smoothies. only two cons so far, it takes some patience to remove the lid without tearing the bottom out and when using juice the smell has so far been impossible to remove. I do not know if the smell will impart flavor to regular ice or other juices as I have only frozen mango flavor. Overall suits my purposes well, very satisfied.momof6cats

I got this for when I travel and stay in an airbnb. I don't like to use ice cube trays that others have used or ice that has been left in a freezer at the place where I am staying. I love that this tray is fully enclosed. And the ice cubes easily pop out when they are ready. I used the entire tray of ice cubes in my 32 oz insulated cup but that lasted about a day and a half. That is easily enough time to make another batch of ice. I think I will get a lot of use out of this ice cube tray.rubyslippers
