"The good: The FLIR camera works terrific. It's already helped me track down breaks in the heating assemblies of two injection molding presses and find a pesky cold air leak in the ceiling insulation.The bad: the device driver is terrible.The fact that the camera attempts to auto load it when you plug it in and that it doesn't mesh well at all with the security software on our VM laptops is a big issue.It isn't compatible with Chromebooks.Linux sorta works, but again, not well.Is it so hard to just have the directory for the captures set up as a removable drive for ease of wide spread compatibility?If there is a patch to change that setting, that'd be terrific because I wouldn't have to drag the camera home to get the photos on my own PC and then email them back to work.Good device, some problems with the software."

Low price, has all the features you need, and works perfectly. I bought it to track down a leak in my ceiling, and it was exactly what I needed to trace it to the source. This started as an emergency purchase, but it gets used way more than I ever thought.
