"I find the ecozy ice machine hard to review. I can't understand the use of this machine. I had high hopes but unrealistic, I get it now, so I am not exactly any ice maker clientele but it seems pretty solid, two fan exhausts on either side, very simple and self cleaning with a drain at the bottom so as not to have water linger. At about 7 min I got my 9 cubes, at about 40 min I had a tall glass full (picture included). The thing is you basically have to empty 8-9 ice cubes every 14 minutes because if you wait, they just melt and go back into ice making. I basically used half the water (full was to the max line) and I got a glass full. I was underwhelmed to say the least. I was hoping for more but then I had to step back and think about the physics...to get 9 ice cubes in 8 minutes without liquid nitrogen is pretty fabulous. But practically speaking, for let's say an ongoing supply of ice for a party, I'd have to say plan ahead and make your own ice or go to the store and buy bags especially in 40 minutes you can run to the store for 8lbs of ice. There seems to be a mad dash on ice makers and I just don't get it and so I don't know how to review it...it does make ice, it's solid, it's slow as any ice maker would be, it's compact, it's a medium noise level but it is really not that practical or useful especially if you are someone that plans ahead."
