"Easy to assemble; even easier to fall apart.Unfortunately not worth the price. And it’s not a case of “you get what you pay for” - it wasn’t cheap. Very flimsy and lid/hinges are useless - come off and apart every time you open. I doubt whether it is waterproof, especially since….Mine was missing a part to lock the unit, and when I wrote to company they said that part is not kept in stock and unit should be returned. It wasn’t worth the trouble so I’m stuck with it"

Like so many others, the hinges broke. I put this outside for package delivery and the Amazon driver broke the hinges upon trying to close the lid with packages overflowing the box. What I did to fix it is glue the hinges to the lid with E-6000 and it pretty much welded them to the lid. If that doesn't work, I might add piano hinges. With normal use, the hinges should not break but if you're allowing delivery drivers to use it, expect it to break without reinforcementprisoner of planet moron

Since this product is completely made of dark resin, it should be assembled in a well-lit area. The instructions are fine and should be followed very, very carefully. No shortcuts! Many pieces fit perfectly when placed in the wrong slots. Don't ask me how I know ...The finished product is sturdy and handsome. It is a wonderful replacement for my incredibly ugly Rubbermaid deck storage bin of great antiquity (now in a dumpster near me).I used my elderly Rubbermaid deck box for storing lawn care products, and this Keter Kentwood will be used for the same purpose. The Rubbermaid box had a lot of superfluous curves, wasting space. My new Keter is shaped like a rectangular solid, providing much more storage space while having a smaller footprint. Great design!The resin hinges are not made for opening ten times every day but with care they should last a long, long time.I have every expectation that this new deck box will survive the Florida Gulf climate for many, many years.jules b
