"I like this lil' guy, it's easy to fill and fits well in our small freezer so I have to give it marks because it's cleverly designed. But that design is all about making cubes, not storing or extracting them. It can be a little difficult to shake the cubes loose (and I mean when they are free from their molds) to get some to fall out of the hole. A thing you also forget is that a traditional ice cube tray lets you fill in empty spots but store the ice you're not using it --- you can't do that here, at least not as easily. We always made ice cubes and stored them in a bag in the freezer anyway so it wasn't a big deal for us but just word to the wise"

Built Tough & easy to Stack; No Smell &/or Flavor Leeching; Great Ice quality & Size; No mess! The only thing I don't like is the price tag, though I'd happily give up a couple of my own digits just to get the rest on more of these!I still live with my parents, and our shared freezer is a MESS. Just as frustrating is our collective habits around the ice trays - I'm usually the one emptying and refilling them both in the morning and afternoon. Doing them one at a time drives me nuts, but this solves the hassle around balancing the tray completely! You can be reckless with this and that's the best part! Just remember to follow the instructions!frambza

These are pretty cool. They don’t take up much space and act as both an ice tray and a container to store the ice.The ice cubes are smaller in size and square shaped. One tray basically fills one entire 16 oz glass with ice top to bottom.One trick I learned, each container can hold two trays worth of ice when the sides are pulled out. So if you want to stock pile extra ice leave them expanded and use one tray to fill the other containers with double ice.Breaking up the ice up and pulling the sides out is a little physical so keep that in mind.I really like them for the space savings and function. Not sure why I became obsessed with this after I saw someone using one at a party. The cubes are perfectly sized. The concept is just so cool. Having uniform ice cubes just like those out of an automatic ice maker without having to take the space in the freezer away. After having a plumber disconnect my automatic ice maker, I was able to put four bags of frozen smoothie fruit from Costco where I once had no space. I'm embarrassed by how much I love this stupid thing. LOLjessy
