"Seems to really help my kids coughing at night and I think also made her cough last less long which was a definite plus. The water tank doesn’t last all night (which I was obviously aware of when I bought it) but that’s not too much of an issue. Noise level is quiet, but the bright light of the button really annoys me. Had to put a cloth over the button to stop the bright light waking my kids up. Value for money is ok."

I have been using my friends unit - steam function is amazing - however it can turn a small room into a sauna if set on higher setting.I did incur a small issue when I turned it off with water still in it... If like me, you have very hard water (producing lots of Limescale) the heating element and the water sensor gets coated in limescale and will not work until cleaned out... Which is actually an easy process to dismantleVapour pads pretty useless, I assume that the inhalent cup is for menthol crystals but instructions give no indication as to what the cup is actually for.ashleigh

I got this humidifier as me and my babies have had dry coughs and congestion for a few days. I’ve turned it on today and already see an improvement in symptoms. The machine is a perfect size for us and so easy to use. I have used the vapour pads in the machine and it smells great, not as strong as some Vicks products but enough to have a pleasant smell.
