"Unit quit working today. Began having issues staying charged now won’t turn on at all.This birdhouse is very well-built, and holds about 8 cups of birdseed at a time. I HIGHLY recommend getting the solar panel charger with this and mounting both to the same pole. Even with heavy use, the camera battery has never dipped below 95%. I drilled a few holes in the ends of the orange perching bars to mount the hummingbird feeders to face directly up (instead of tilted), as they tend to leak.Pros:Easy to assembleLots of mounting optionsDirections are pretty good -- for the birdhouseHolds a lot of seedVideo/picture quality is pretty solid (must trigger 2K resolution in app, default is lower)Seems like it'll be easy to cleanCons:Bird breed identification is spotty at best. This is a great video bird feeder! I bought this as a gift for a family member who loves bird watching and they have truly enjoyed it. The camera quality is surprisingly good and the app even recognizes and names most bird species for you. It came with several accessories that I was not expecting, and a couple of mounting options. Love this feeder! I've had it up for about 4 weeks and it's only used a small percentage of the SD card and it's Minnesota winter. I am sure when spring happens it'll be a lot busier but right now I am enjoying the Juncos and Woodpeckers. I thought it was easy to connect to the app and I don't use the subscription as I don't need the cloud or bird idenfication. Might try it in the spring as "business" picks up at the feeder and to try out other settings you only get with the subscription. I got it for a great price on Black Friday and I could not be more pleased with my purchase.I set the notifications to a loon sound as I am a Minnesota girl so why not? ☺️ I love getting my notifications but sometimes I have to mute it for awhile because it gets a little crazy.jared

The media could not be loaded. Works good so far! There are multiple ways to mount this camera so that’s nice. Comes with multiple cute accessories and a solar panel. My solar panel was a bit wonky and can’t be moved correctly as it won’t stay in place. But it has so far stayed straight up. The camera is very finicky and will record anytime a car goes by even on the least sensitive setting. So I would I recommend facing it in a direction you don’t plan to have much motion other than birds. But it is cool once the birds finally find it.What Customers Talk About
