"I want to make clear now that I did not return this because there was anything wrong with it. It was a beautiful color, worked perfectly, and I had no problems getting it to operate. I returned it because, frankly, I did not see much difference in this Kindle Signature Paperwhite and my regular Kindle paperwhite. Sure, the screen is a bit bigger and it has a wireless charger (more on that in a minute), and a bigger memory capacity, but other than that it operated the exact same way. I guess I assumed that since it was a fancy upgrade, there would be all kinds of new differences-you know, like waiting until they put that special something in the new model of the car you've been waiting to buy. That wasn't the case at all. It was pretty much the same. Let's talk about that wireless charger for a moment too. That thing is so bulky it's surprising. If I wanted to take that along on a vacation it would be a pain because it's so oddly shaped and heavy. Also, why include a wireless charger and still give a USB one? If I take the USB charger on vacation instead, then I just paid extra for something I don't intend to use. And that was the conclusion I came to fairly quickly. I wirelessly charged the device and then put the charger on a shelf in the closet, which is more than likely where it would have remained if I had kept this. What a waste! Also, Amazon, no offense, but you should have oodles of money by now and the best designers in the world and all you could come up with is that thing? How about making it a more flexible material if possible-say, hard neoprene or something that gives? Metal does not give. And while we're on "wireless" why does it take a wire plugged in to the "wireless" charger to charge "wirelessly." Is it just me? Lastly, the biggest reason I decided to return this is that the Kindle I have now was a birthday gift from my husband (who is my most precious gift). Upon reflection, I decided that Kindle was still perfect, has a much better cover, and is the one I chose to keep. Fortunate that I was able to cancel my trade in order and that Amazon is wonderful to deal with in returning things. I do love my Kindle!"
