"As my title says, STAY THE HECK AWAY from this switch.I've spent the last 5 days repairing the damage it caused to all of my windows environments.This switch has a rogue DNS server and DHCP server embedded inside of it.As soon as it connects to your network it infects all windows operations systems and clashes with any routers or DNS you have installed.It caused all windows environments to default to a Chinese proxy server and routed all internal traffic to China. Lord knows what it uploaded to my networks...I've found malware in the MBR of my boot drives and all all over my removable media.I've had to sanitize everything that contains data in my entire house.Stay AWAY!!!!"

Stellar price to performance. I bought this to expand my home's 10G backbone and add a set of 2.5G ports for a test bench area where I set up and configure hardware.So far this thing has been a champ. It runs cool, I've even connected an RJ45 transceiver to it for uplink to my 10G LAN and while the transceiver is hot, the rest of the switch isn't. I'm not really pushing tons of packets through it or stressing it in any way otherwise, but speed tests (locally and to the Internet) show no difference when a machine is connected to this vs upstream somewhere.For the price, you can't really beat it.gonzaluno
