This is a very reliable drive; I have three and they work great in both my camera system and my computer. Since it is basically plug and play there is no issues with installation. These are not the cheapest drives but then again you get what you pay for, and these are definitely worth the little extra cost. They seem to last forever, got one that is 6 years old and is still working without a hiccup. Since these are a 4 TB drive, they actually hold about 3.86 TB of data and are pretty quiet compared to other drives I've had in the past.jen
