"The good: It comes in a neat carrying case. The batteries seem to last a while.The bad: The flimsy, plastic side housing is warped and when the wingnut is tightened the housing bends outward a good 1/4" or more, exposing the chain and sprocket. (see picture) The oil reservoir leaks.The ugly: The chain comes off constantly. While cutting some 2-3" diameter branches, I had to stop every few cuts to re-tighten the chain. One time, the chain fell off completely. Not very safe.Due to the above-cited problems, I find the saw to be completely unserviceable and a little unsafe. I cannot, in good conscience, give this saw anything more than one star. I suspect the other, similar Chinese mini chainsaws are about the same quality.Save yourself the hassle and get a cordless reciprocating saw and some 9" pruning blades. That's what I used before and it's what I'm going back to for light to moderate trimming."

I was a bit skeptical about buying this, but I gave it a try and glad I did. This little guy cut right through the branches with no problem. I took down several dead branches off the pine trees in the backyard. Be sure you wear the safety glasses because it throws shreds of wood everywhere. Highly recommend for those small jobs around the yard.gwo

This nice little chainsaw is really a beast. We cut down so many small trees with this and it helped clean up our property in days. Nice compact and rechargeable.
