"Good price. Easy install. I am a Sears trained appliance technician and a trick I picked up along the way is to install a cheaper inline filter like this to pre-filter the water going to your frig. Then you change this cheap $10 filter every six months and save the expensive one in the frig to ONCE per year. Try it - you’ll see it works well. Just cut the water-to-frig line anywhere it’s easily accessible to change and where there’s enough room for it to fit. Like under a sink or behind the frig. Mine is under the kitchen sink. Works great!"

This filter does a good job,,I don't change them but yearly in a household of 2 being used for refrigerator ice making only, so I change once a year,,and I can attest that this filter make the ice neutral of any odors or flavors for that year, easy to install with the quick push to connect system,, I think it's a good value and works wellbilly the cat

Easy to install and it solved my problem. The receiver for the water filter on my Samsung Refrigerator was damaged and would have cost 200 fro the parts alone and hours of work. Put this filter in the water line that goes to the fridge in seconds. Cut the line and the slip fit locked right up. Problem solved.james h

I used this as a replacement post filter for my RO system. This has quick connect fittings that made the replacement very easy and quick. Make sure to push the tubing in all the way until you feel it pop past the seal. This will avoid any water dripping when you turn it back on.
