"After using it a few times, I thought this was going to be my new favorite kitchen appliance, but that quickly faded. The ceramic coating on the inner pot absorbs smells. My pot now smells like rotten shrimp. I have washed it multiple times, soaked it overnight with baking soda and white vinegar, washed it again, and it still reeks. My old rice cooker, that I used for YEARS, never absorbed any smells. I am really disappointed in what I thought would be an upgrade in my kitchen."
