"My 14 year old cat was previously eating Pro Plan Vital Systems senior, but he was vomiting a few times a week. It was usually before he ate, so I don't think the food caused it. However, I thought it would be good to try a sensitive stomach food. I was very happy that Pro Plan makes one that is salmon flavored because he tends to prefer fish over poultry flavors. Ingredients and nutrition are very similar to his previous food and so is the price. Since switching to this and adding a probiotic/digestive enzyme supplement, he is vomiting much less. He can be very picky about food, but he is eating this happily. He had lost quite a lot of weight in the past 2 years (from 12 down to 9.3), and I am trying to get him back to 10lb. He eats this plus some wet and treats, and he's back to 9.7 now. This might not be a good food if your cat needs to lose weight, but it's great for my skinny old cat."
