Worked for my Dell Latitude 5420. I’m unsure of my specific model of 5420, but it’s the 14” with no smart card reader slot, and no tap card reader. Specs are in the pics, I upgraded the ram to 32gb, stock was 16gb.I bought this battery to replace an aging stock Dell RJ40G, which showed up as model 1K2CF19 in system info. Took me about five minutes to swap it out and boot back up.In Fedora 43 with KDE Plasma 6.5.2 the new battery shows 100% health and at 61% capacity says it has about 6 hours to discharge. That’s over twice as long as the battery I replaced that had 52-55% health.I know others have said it didn’t work for their 5420, so still caveat emptor, but it worked in mine.So far it’s good, I’ll update my review if I encounter anything in the next few weeks.denise lee
