"The value you're getting at the price point of $466 which is listing price at the time of this review is definitely lower than expected. For starters, the unit is almost entirely plastic which makes it feel kind of cheap. I definitely have concerns about the longevity of some of the plastic components of this machine for sure. Beyond that, I didn't like how this unit can't support taller mugs! You can only fit standard squatty style mugs under the spigot which for me, dramatically reduces the amount of cups I have that I can use with this - travel mugs are right out.I also found that it can be a bit difficult to get the milk frother spigot and the coffee drip holes lined up with the cup at times in a way where the milk foam doesn't want to spray out all over the place. You need to have a perfectly sized mug - if it's too short the milk foam goes everywhere, too tall and it won't fit. Speaking of the milk foam spigot, I didn't really like how it's in a fixed position and there's no way of being able to have it off to the side for use with a milk foam cup. Unfortunately, the auto options want to always do the milk first when I'd prefer to add the foam to the top afterward. The only way to have the milk foam added afterwards is using the manually option which sort of defeats some of the point of having a machine which is supposed to automatically make you coffee without the need to stand around. You have to stand there and mess around with the machine rather than being able to just push one button and do other things while it makes your coffee.I also found that the sizes for auto that are defined don't seem to match up with the quantities they are supposed to be. For example, in the manual it says a large is supposed to be 473ml but I felt like it was barely getting about 375ml of liquid in the cup when run. If felt like the amount of liquid I was getting each use was inconsistent. I think I use mugs that I think are fairly standard mugs for home use by a regular coffee drinker. And with one of those mugs it really wasn't filling more than 2/3 full even with the milk foam. There were number of other little issues with this maker as well such as it being difficult to get the grounds holder in the fully locked position when you're using one of the adapter pieces. And how the adapter pieces are very tricky to get in and out due to the need to line up a little notch without any easy way to grab the piece to rotate it. You can't easily swap pieces in between making cups due to the heat and no way to easily grab the piece either. It does work though and does have some good features with it... the removable milk container is nice so left over milk can be just stored in the fridge, even if a little tricky to get back on there securely. It's also pretty easy to clean which is nice. And the fact that there are manual options really opens up more control over how to make your coffee. It's not a horrible unit by any means. But the substantially higher cost of this over others really makes the flaws of this machine less forgivable when rating it, which is why I had to go with just 3.5 stars for this unit. If you can get it on a good sale, I would definitely say it's worth it at that point but not at regular full price as the quality just does match up."

Fabulous budget coffee machine to introduce you into being a coffee snob. There are for sure better ones out there, but on discount this was completely worth 100$ or so.mo

This machine is the same as the Oster Prima Latte 2 that we've had for several years & been happy with. Biggest bonus this has over our previous basic espresso machines is that it dumps the water pressure after making an espresso so you don't have a sloppy mess in the basket when making more than one cup. Also love not wasting milk with the auto frother.Anonymous

This is a great machine. I love the large milk reservoir. Making drinks is simple, with buttons for small and large versions of espresso, lattes and cappuccinos. There is also a manual mode if you want more control over how large your drink is. Comes with everything you need (single and double filter, scoop and tamper, etc). Works great, and makes the drinks extremely quickly, and has useful built in cleaning options. I couldn't ask for more!esmeralda
