"I have used it a few times now and it is ok but for the price point I thought it would be a bit more efficient. The grater seems to have gotten a bit duller with use and I am concerned that it will not stand the test of time. Hopefully it will turn out to be a long term reliable tool."

I had previously owned an OXO brand micrograter but the handle snapped off after several years. The Microplane is definitely superior in construction, ergonomics, overall design. I would say the OXO was 4stars and the Microplane 5stars. Would highly recommend the Microplane.dwayne wight
