"Easy to use, quality is good. I bought it solely for the purpose of putting pizzas into a 12" pizza oven since pizzas stick to my metal peel (even with flour sprinkled on it) when inserting into the oven.This wood peel has worked perfectly for me for inserting pizzas into the oven - no sticking and pizzas slide off easily! (I do sprinkle flour on the peel first.)I have no interest in using this wood peel as a cutting board or for removing pizzas from the oven so I can't comment on those uses. I use a metal peel for removing the pizzas."

Easy to use, quality is good. We have a Calphalon toaster oven and have been struggling to get hot things out with mitts, pot holders, etc. Clumsy and dangerous. We use a large wooden peel for our oven so thought, "why not see if they make smaller ones?" Well, duh. They do. Bought this one and it works perfectly! Easy to use. Easy to clean. Our neighbors in the same boat saw ours and immediately bought one too. Well worth the minimal cost. Fits right next to the toaster. Convenient. No more worrying about dropping hot food or hassle of reaching into a tight, hot space. Works for pizza, of course, but also quiches, pot pies, everything.aj

These are great for pizza party events, with each person being able to make their pizza on a peel in preparation for being launched into the oven. They are made from pine, so be careful with rinsing. I recommend that you use cutting board oil to seal them. I rinsed them quickly to remove any dust after receiving them. I let them dry thoroughly then applied two coats of mineral oil over the course of a couple of days.travis
